A couple of weeks ago, I dropped my son off for his driving lesson so after I picked up my cleaning, I decided to stop at the Salvation Army thrift store. Sometimes I don’t find anything, sometimes I find a lot, so I gave myself a $10 budget before I went in. After looking around through the tops and housewares, I headed over to the books. There was a woman there LOADING her cart with cookbooks and my immediate thought was “hoarder”. (I know…that’s so mean).

Anyway, I had a few cookbooks in my cart when she told me they were $1. Yes, $1 each! No wonder she was loading her cart! (And yes, I still feel a little guilty for thinking that).

I stuck to my $10 budget but I got some really good cookbooks to add to my collection. 🙂
