“April 16th, all who self harm, are suicidal, depressed, unhappy, have anxiety, has a broken heart, lost a loved one, draw a semicolon on your wrist. Semicolons represent a sentence the author chose not to end. You’re the author, the sentence is your life”. The Semicolon Project on Facebook

The semicolon represents continuing a story. I have a semicolon tattooed on my back in honor of my little brother who we lost to suicide. I will continue his story in hopes that others will decide to continue their own as well. For information on suicide prevention please visit Project Semicolon.

If you are reading this and considering suicide, PLEASE seek help, find someone to talk to. The people who love you will never be the same if you decide not to continue your story.

Hi, welcome to my humble abode! I’m middle-aged but still learning and discovering. I have a Master’s degree in Therapeutic Herbalism. In between my disjointed, seemingly unrelated posts, I hope to share some of what I’ve learned about plants and about life. Grab a cup of coffee and stay a while. I’m happy to have you.
