I first heard about Textbroker from moneysavingmom.com. I had been looking everywhere for legitimate ways to make money from home and couldn’t find anything that seemed genuine. I wrote a few articles, then got too busy with school so I stopped. A few days ago, I received an email from Textbroker informing past and present authors that Textbroker received an order for 10,000 articles and they are looking for people to complete the jobs.

Textbroker.com is the real deal. They match authors with clients who are looking to purchase original content to use on their websites, blogs, and marketing materials. Clients range from bloggers to large corporations like Staples and Ebay.

Once you create an account as an author, you gain access to the list of assignments. Each assignment posting includes the subject of the article, the number of words required, the keywords that must be included along with the number of times the keywords must be used, any special instructions, due date, and possible earnings. Content must be original and cannot be something you posted before, even if you are the original author.

Everyone starts out as a level 1 author. Your rating will increase with the number of acceptable articles you submit, up to a level 5. The higher the level, the more they pay for articles. I am currently a level 4. You also have the option to take a proofreading test which grants you access to the proofreading area and additional jobs. Passing the proofreading test is a step towards becoming a level 5 author. If you fail the test, it can be retaken after 3 months. I took the test some time ago and failed, so I will try again. 😊

Each article you complete is reviewed. If there are any changes required, you will be contacted. Once the article has been accepted, your earnings are deposited into your Textbroker account. You must have a minimum of $10 to receive a payout. The money is deposited into the bank account you provide when you sign up.

Some of the article requests are a bit weird, some require regional knowledge, some are easy, and some are more challenging.

If you have time and don’t mind writing, Textbroker is a good way to earn some extra money. Visit Textbroker.com to sign up and start earning!
