I ran a small floral design company, Creative Edge Floral Design, for six years. Even though I no longer run my floral company, I still do occasional floral arrangements for family and friends. Last week a friend asked me to do an arrangement for a baby shower. She wanted something in purple, yellow, and white.

Here’s what I used and how I did it:

  • Lavender Ocean Song Roses

  • Sun City Yellow Spray Roses

  • September White filler flowers

  • Tree Fern filler

  • Soak wet floral foam

  • Carve floral foam to fit basket

Line basket with plastic and insert floral foam (I inserted the foam, then took it out to add a few flowers into the head of the carriage. There was no way to add the flowers once the foam had been inserted).

Trim plastic, insert greenery, lavender roses, spray roses, then tuck filler flowers into empty spaces. Finish with a double satin ribbon bow and display on a mirror.
