Last month, I was lucky enough to travel to Australia for work. I had two personal goals I wanted to achieve – see a kangaroo and visit the Hierophant herb shop.
I was lucky enough to do both!
The Hierophant is located in the Griffith neighborhood, a suburb of Canberra, Australia’s capital city.
The Hierophant was a quaint little shop with what you would expect from a place selling herbs. They offered a wide variety tinctures, dried herbs, books, crystals, soaps, and bath and body products. They also sold tarot cards and a beautiful selection of dream catchers. They have several instructors who teach herbal, aromatherapy, and natural care classes.
I purchased gentian (Gentiana lutea), Schisandra (Schisandra chinesis), obsidian, and a few books. My favorite part of the shop was the antique scale used to weigh the dried herbs. I was told it was already there when they rented the place.

Stones and crystals
Positive messages were everywhere

A magpie, they are noisy!
No trip to Australia is complete without seeing a mob (not a herd as I was told) of kangaroos!
Hi, welcome to my humble abode!
